The permanent exhibition on The ancient Middle East offers a glimpse into this region’s rich past. Thousands of years and millions of square kilometres of history have been brought together in one room. The exhibition focuses on the region’s diversity, cultures and landscapes: from fertile river valleys to towering mountain ranges, from Assyrian kings to a Babylonian priestess, and from small cylindrical seals to imposing royal statues.
