In December 2023, we hosted Herman Wasserman, Professor of Journalism and Chair of the Department of Journalism at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, as part of partnership exchange talks with the Centre of Media and Journalism Studies (CMJS). Prof Wasserman's visit and activities while at CMJS were funded and facilitated by the Faculty of Arts, The Groningen Research Institute for the Study of Culture (ICOG) and International Strategy and Relations (ISR) through the Sub-Saharan Africa Strategic Plan.
