Description
The research visit would be set between the University of Groningen (Faculty of Spatial Sciences; The Netherlands) and the group Hidrobiologia y Gestion Ambiental and group Clima, Energia, e Infrastructuras Marinas. The main aim of this short research visit is to establish a durable and solid exchange of scientific knowledge, based on shared research aims. This collaboration would connect research groups with overlapping and complementary focus, towards developing more integrated data bases (geo-spatial and non-spatial data), as well as complementary methodologies and conceptual models/frameworks for analysis of the marine socio-ecological systems and development scenarios at European Sea basins, with focus on the North Sea, but transferable to any European seabasin or MSFD (Marine Strategy Framework Directive) Region.
