Description

The first Introductory Training Module (ITM 1) of the Nature4Nature project focused on "Biodiversifying bioinspiration: assessing biodiversity for bioinspired design". ITM 1 started with one week at the Marine Station and Marinarium in Concarneau, followed by one week at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris (both in France). I contributed to ITM 1 in Concarneau via two lectures, a practical, and an excursion to the coast on marine biodiversity. Here, I focused on form and function of zooplankton as well as benthic organisms. For more information, see the Nature4Nature website.
