Learning community DOEN!: Improving the identification of people in need of support regarding sexual and reproductive health and parenting

Activity: Organising and attending an event Organising and contributing to an event Professional

Description

As part of the project DOEN! I organized a series of collaborative meetings with experts by experience, social workers, and medical professionals. These meetings serve as a platform where participants collectively delve into diverse perspectives and collaboratively seek solutions to complex issues. Within this dynamic learning community, contributors openly share their experiences and insights on enhancing the identification of individuals with mild intellectual disabilities and/or psychiatric vulnerabilities who seek guidance on matters related to sexuality, contraceptives, family planning, pregnancy, or parenting. The aim is to foster a comprehensive understanding and explore effective strategies to address the unique challenges in offering services and support on these matters.
