Meta-Model of Interprofessional Development: A roadmap for integrating services.

Activity: Talk and presentationProfessional or public presentationProfessional

This keynote explains the Meta-Model of Interprofessional Development as an integrated procedure-centered roadmap for interprofessional practice, education, and research. This meta-model is designed around the work cycle adapted to remedy issues that often arise from a lack of interprofessional collaboration. The interprofessional work cycle, the operational dimension of the meta-model, connects preparatory and developmental context-independent priorities to each of its phases. In turn, these phases are embeded in a larger cross-scale strategic system dynamic that supports and facilitates the operational dimension. The meta-model can be used by students, professionals, and scientists to analyze and evaluate shared problem domains, team composition and context.
