Supporting open access books: opportunities and challenges of running an open access book fund at the University of Groningen

    To address the lack of open access support for monographs and edited volumes, the UG introduced an open access book fund in 2022. In the presentation we describe the fund, its eligibility criteria and workflow, as well as discuss the challenges, opportunities and lessons learned.
