Description

Lucía Berro Pizzarossa participated in the 2017 High Level Political Forum at the United Nations. The HLPF is United Nations central platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, provides for the full and effective participation of all States Members of the United Nations and States members of specialized agencies. In 2017, 44 countries have volunteered to present their national voluntary reviews to the HLPF. Among there activities, Lucía participated on the United Nations Sustainable Development knowledge platform discussing the indivisibility of Goals 3 and 5 (Health & Gender Equality) and their importance for the achievement of the whole Agenda 2030. Furthermore, she acted as a representative of the Women's Major Group and delivered a statement in relation to Uruguay's national voluntary report.
