The University of Groningen and University Medical Center Groningen have been sharing a single Pure instance since 2014. For the University the University Library manages Pure and for the Medical Center it is the Central Medical Library. The workflow between the two libraries is different. The medical library decided to change the workflow to unburden the researchers so that they can devote their time to research. The medical library makes sure that the research output is entered into Pure and that the data is correct. This data is then used for annual reports, dashboards and research analytics. In this presentation we will show the Pure workflow regarding research output and data quality of the University and the Medical Center. We will discuss the differences and the different results.The main question is how to fill Pure in the most efficient way, but also keeping the data quality in mind. Only if we can trust that Pure is complete can we use the system to create reports for the faculties, departments, or groups. The main points in this presentation are: How are our Pure teams organized, what is our workflow regarding research output, how do we check the data quality of records in Pure. Lastly, we will show how the data in Pure is used, both through the reporting module as outside of Pure.
