Description

In recent years, the Red Cross Youth Organization has carried out many activities by setting up various centers in the age groups of 5 to 29 years. These activities are in line with rescue training and disaster preparedness, charity convoy, national plan for the safety and health of new year travelers, Psychosocial support groups in disasters, cultural creation in the field of environmental protection, blood donation, organ donation, prevention of social harms such as addiction and AIDS, rescue-sports activities, desert climbing and mountain climbing and many other activities have been developed and many times they have carried out such activities much more dynamically and actively than the government institutions in charge of youth affairs. All Red Cross youth activities are voluntary and these activities take place in three roles: youth as leaders, youth as volunteers, and youth as beneficiaries; But in the meantime, a question may arise as to why the activities of the Red Cross members under the age of 30 are in the field of youth and over 30 in the field of volunteers, and what was the reason for the independent activity of the youth organization and the volunteer organization. Does this independence of activity exist in other countries as well? . In this article, the activities of other countries of the world in different regions have been investigated and shown. In almost all the countries of the world, the field of youth has been seen as independent and this attention to young people is derived from the policies of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
