This repository contains the code, data, and paper source for our paper "Bioverse: Potentially Observable Exoplanet Biosignature Patterns Under the UV Threshold Hypothesis for the Origin of Life", which explores how exoplanet surveys can test origins-of-life hypotheses by linking biosignature distributions to abiogenesis scenarios. Using Bayesian modeling and the Bioverse survey simulator, we assess the feasibility of detecting strong evidence for or against the 'UV Threshold Hypothesis' – a minimum near-ultraviolet (NUV) flux required for abiogenesis – in future biosignature surveys.
