Description
The present research examined the relationship between ingroup identification and group assimilation according to the ingroup norm (collectivistic vs. individualistic) and the ingroup status (low vs. high). The findings show that this relationship is particularly conspicuous when ingroup status is low and the norm promotes collectivism.
