Personal profile

Biosketch

I hold a PhD in physics, and my research activity mostly focused on computational models of collective behaviour (collective motion of groups of bacteria, fish, and birds), investigating how the interaction rules between two individuals lead to emergent group dynamics.

More recently I gained experience in machine learning algorithms and are currently working as data scientist in the BEHAPP team, where we use the smartphone app BEHAPP to measure changes in social behaviour that can be used as an early warning signal and digital marker for psychiatric disorders.
