Research interests

I am a clinical molecular biologist at the UMCG and a principal investigator in the Stem cells, Ageing, Leukemia and Lymphoma (SALL) program of the Cancer Research Center Groningen. My main research interest is studying the molecular pathogenesis of B cell Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The specific fields of interest are focused around genomic aberrations, genetic susceptibility, the role of small and long noncoding RNAs and  the cross-talk between tumor cells and the micro environment.
