Bio Statement

Júlia dos Anjos Marques pursued a Research Master with specialization in Environmental and Infrastructure Planning (2023) following a Bachelor's in Architecture and Urbanism (2020). The researcher is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Spatial Planning & Environment of the Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen. Following a four-year occupation in architectural projects and civil construction, Júlia transitioned into full-time research two and a half years ago. Her career objective is to establish meaningful connections in the pro-socio-environmental field. Her research primarily centers on Regional and Environmental Planning, with a particular focus on institutional design, environmental legislation, and their associated spatial implications. She has received accolades for her regional planning design projects and contributions to society.
