Research interests

Lisa has a background in pharmacy and conducted her doctoral research 'Health economics of direct oral anticoagulants in the Netherlands' at the department of Pharmacotherapy, -epidemiology, and -economics — University of Groningen. Her research focusses on health economic modelling for reimbursement and clinical decision-making purposes, with special interest in using real-world data to populate models and expertise in cardiorenal metabolic diseases. Currently, Lisa is involved in various research projects and technology appraisals for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence in the UK. Expertise: pharmacoeconomics, health economics, burden of disease, budget impact, health technology assessment, cost-effectiveness.
