PhD project: The historical and future impacts of climate change on global agricultural productivity and the agricultural adaptation to climate change

Agriculture is one of the most sensitive sectors to climate change. Climate change, especially the rising temperature, has significant negative impacts on agricultural productivity and future projections suggest these impacts may become even worse. Adaptations measures and policies necessary can offset negative impacts of climate change on agriculture. Understanding the climate change impacts on agriculture and agricultural adaptation to climate change is necessary to ensure food security. Hence, my research aims to measure the historical and future impacts of climate change on global agriculture and the agricultural adaptation.
