Zhen Chen

Zhen Chen is a PhD researcher in the field of Private International Law at the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on the protection of consumers and facilitating their access to justice under European and Chinese private international law. Through a comparative law study, she endeavors to address the question of how current private international law rules in China and the European Union can be reformed to provide better protection for consumers involved in cross-border disputes. Furthermore, Zhen is also passionate about cultural heritage law and the repatriation of cultural objects through international legal proceedings.
