Conover-Porter Book Award

Award given by the African Studies Association for outstanding Africa-related reference works, bibliographies or bibliographic essays published in any country, separately or as part of a larger work. In this case for the publication by M.R. Doortmont & J. Smit, Sources for the Mutual History of Ghana and the Netherlands. An annotated guide to the Dutch archives relating to Ghana and West Africa in the Nationaal Archief 1593-1960 (Leiden/Boston: Brill 2007).
