    The European Association for Health Information and Libraries (EAHIL) awards are presented every 2 years, for special and/or life-time achievements within EAHIL community.
    Guus van den Brekel should get the award for these reasons:
    · For his long lasting dedication to the EAHIL community.
    · For his personal drive to find solution to whatever problems the EAHIL community or any of its member might be facing
    · For his interest and skills when it comes to new technology, and for his dedication to share this knowledge with members of the EAHIL community
    · For not being afraid of letting his voice bee heard, on any subject discussed within and outside the EAHIL community.
