The Communication Model of Cultural Change This proposal examines the role of micro-level aspects of conversation in macro-level cultural change. A novel CCC-model is developed, proposing that a) the interplay between form and content of social interaction determines the possibility and direction of cultural change, b)cultural change is mediated by changes in perceived opinion distribution.
