Abstract

The configuration in the solid state structure of the title compound, C11H11BrO2, about the C C double bond is E. In the crystal structure, symmetry-related molecules are linked by O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming centrosymmetric carboxylic acid dimers.
