    Abstract

    This thesis is a plea for finding and using biomarkers, to enhance precision medicine in the treatment of lung cancer patients, and a plea for speeding up the process towards precision medicine (or targeted therapy), because of the obvious benefits that will bring for patients and physicians, such asreducing ineffective therapies and medication.
