Abstract

There is currently little material available to help beginning as well as experienced (university) instructors effectively supervise academic research, particularly theses. Thesis supervision often devolves into a lengthy process that is frustrating for both instructors and students. This guide offers tools to optimize that process by drawing on lessons from the agile method, originally developed in the business world.
