Abstract
This article discusses legal instruments that provide an exception to the rule that one can only dispose of an asset once and once one has disposed of an asset, that asset can no longer be used to take recourse against by his/her creditors. Furthermore, the article argues that the body of these instruments could be improved on the basis of legal-economic arguments.
