An HI Study of the Ursa Major Cluster of Galaxies

Abstract

The WSRT is used to obtain detailed kinematics of a complete volume limited sample of spiral galaxies in the Ursa Major Cluster, useful for studies of the Tully-Fisher relation and the properties of dark matter halos. In this short contribution, a brief overview of the global HI morphologies will be presented along with some statistics on the occurrence of tidal interactions, warps, and lopsidedness.
