Abstract

In this thesis, copper-catalyzed asymmetric 1,2 and 1,4-additions of Grignard reagents to different α,β-unsaturated substituted enones are described. The application of this methodology to the enantioselective synthesis of steroid hybrids, is also demonstrated.
