Abstract
The crystal structure of the tetrabutylammonium benzoate complex of 3,4-diphenyl-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dicarboxylic acid bis-butylamide has been elucidated confirming the formation of a cleft conformation in the solid state upon anion binding.
The crystal structure of benzoate bound to a 2,5-diamidopyrrole anion receptor has been elucidated revealing the formation of a ‘cleft conformation’.
