Abstract

A 26-year-old man with atopic dermatitis since birth developed an angio-immunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) with secondary cutaneous involvement. The cutaneous involvement of the AITL presented in a unique way with epidermotropism; thereby mimicking mycosis fungoides. There is increasing evidence that patients with atopic dermatitis are at increased risk for developing lymphoma. The lymphomas are associated with disease progression and/or treatment of the eczema.
