Abstract
This article analyzes the Bills (PLs) currently before the National Congress, both in the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate, which aim to make changes to Law 12.711/2012, the so-called Quotas Law. Considering that the Quotas Law will be 10 years old in 2022, and that Article 7 of the Law stipulates that it must be reviewed at this time, it is important to understand the characteristics of these PLs. SigaLei software was used to build the sample, which included 46 Bills, and to code them. Data was generated on the year the bill was proposed, the legislative house, how it was processed, the main authors and parties, position, proposed changes and impact. It was concluded that most of the Bills in progress are in favor of the Quotas Law, but there are bills that aim to de-characterize the public policy. In addition, most of the proposals alter the target public, expanding or restricting it.
