Abstract
The European Court's Schrems rulings have made the transatlantic transfer of personal data significantly more difficult. At least, that's the theory. But do companies also comply with the new and very strict regulatory framework in practice? In this article, we present an exploratory empirical study of that question. The preliminary answer: most companies do not even know that the regulatory framework exists.
