Abstract

Despite the growing recognition of the importance of dynamic team composition, there remains a significant gap in theory and empirical research on how these dynamics might impact team processes and outcomes. This lack of empirical depth limits our understanding of how teams can harness the benefits of dynamic composition while minimizing its potential downsides. Thus, the overarching purpose of this symposium is to present four empirical papers that advance understanding of dynamic team composition.
