Abstract
We report the first measurement of the semileptonic decay π·+
π βπΎ0β’π+β’ππ, using a sample of π+β’πβ annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 7.33ββfbβ1 collected at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The branching fraction of the decay is measured to be β¬β‘(π·+
π βπΎ0β’π+β’ππ)=(2.89Β±0.2β’7statΒ±0.1β’2syst)Γ10β3, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Based on a simultaneous fit to the partial decay rates in π2 intervals measured in π·+
π βπΎ0β’π+β’ππ and π·+
π βπΎ0β’π+β’ππ decays, the product value of the form factor ππΎ0
+β‘(0) and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |ππβ’π| is measured to be ππΎ0
+β‘(0)β’|ππβ’π|=0.140Β±0.00β’8statΒ±0.00β’3syst, which is the most precise determination to date. In addition, lepton flavor universality is tested for the first time with π·+
π βπΎ0β’β+β’πβ decays in full and separate π2 intervals. No violation is found.
