    Abstract

Study of painted friezes in palaces in Rome, from the periode between c.1400-1600, trying to answer the questions: how should we interpret
the topics of painted friezes, particularly in minor rooms? Is there perhaps a
connection between these topics and the fact that they were situated in rooms
that were only accessible to a select number of people?
