Abstract
Tow methods for the assessment of the amount of crowding or spacing on a dental cast (measuring and assessment by eye) were compared. The intrareliablitiy for estimating (ICC) was 0.97 and for interreliability 0.94. The eman difference between the rwo methods was less than 1 mm. However, measuting took 8.7 minutes, while estimating took only 1.6 minutes.
