Abstract
This thesis explored various aspects of the management of high blood pressure, from drug-related problems in a case study to nonpersistence to antihypertensive treatment in a cohort study. The results presented support the need for better management of hypertension and better patient care. Pharmacists are in the right position to support both. Finally, the thesis supports the need for better access to data on medication use.
