Abstract

How can Martin Buber's I-It vs. I-You distinction be applied to the topic of migration? This chapter takes a look at the issue of refugee housing in the Netherlands and argues that placing refugees into Dutch housholds provides a path to realizing more I-You relationships in the context of the refugee problem.
