Abstract

Supraconservative discretization methods are studied which conserve primary
(mass, momentum and internal energy) as well as secondary (total energy) invariants. In particular, the coefficient matrices which are related to such conservation properties are analyzed. This analysis holds for any discretization method with a volume-consistent scaling.
