Abstract

Apparatus and computer-implemented methods are disclosed for identifying genetic variants in a target an initial processing step receives initial input sequence data and processes the initial input sequence data to identify variants involving more than N1 base pairs. A first subsequent processing step uses an output from the initial processing step to identify further variants, the further variants involving more than N2 base pairs and including at least one variant that involves less than N1 base pairs.
