Abstract

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease of the brain and the spinal cord. The cause of MS is unknown. MS usually starts in young adulthood. In the course of the disease progression of neurological handicap and increase of impairments in daily life is common. In this study there were two aims. Firstly, the prevalence of MS was studied. All patients with MS were neurologically examined. Secondly, the Quality of Life (QoL) of all patients with MS was studied and related to their neurological condition.
