Abstract

Since 1999 investigations at Tell el-Borg in North Sinai have uncovered significant material from the Amarna period. In addition to pottery from this period, several wine jar seals and other small
objects mention the names of members of the royal family of Akhetaten. Particularly interesting is a seal impression with the cartouche of Neferneferuaten followed by the epithet Akhetenhyes, adding a further occurrence to the dossier of this enigmatic royal
figure.
