Abstract

A new class of mesoporous materials constituted by gallia nanoparticles was synthesised and tested as epoxidation catalysts. The results prove that these materials can bridge the gap between Ga2O3nanoparticles and MCM-41-like materials, coupling the benefits of particles in the nanoscale to their organisation in a mesoporous structure. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
