N2 - We show how Newton-Cartan gravity can be generalized to String Newton-Cartan gravity which is identified as the proper geometry underlying non-relativistic string theory. Specific properties of non-relativistic string theory are discussed such as T-duality and (solutions to) the equations of motion of the background fields.
