Abstract

The Dutch Journal of Dentistry aims to be and remain the number one in the field of periodic scientific information dissemination to the Dutch-speaking target audience. It is therefore essential to understand how readers perceive the Journal, what they expect, want, and wish for. For this reason, a readership survey will be conducted again this year, which will help determine the course to be taken in the coming years. Scientific information will also, and presumably increasingly, be provided through other media in the coming years. In collaboration with the publisher, preparations for a dedicated NTvT website are in full swing. To get this initiative on track, the addition of an internet editor to the editorial team is being pursued in the short term.
