    Abstract

    The thesis titled "Peripheral Arterial Occlusive Disease: From diagnosis to treatment outcomes" treats different aspects in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
    Part I focuses on the diagnosis and definition of a critical arterial stenosis and describes multiple methods to enhance the diagnostic process.
    Part II focuses on the treatment outcomes of various endovascular treatments that are being used in patients with peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
