Abstract

this article outlines and discusses the principles of the guidelines for the management of malignant melanoma be surgeons, the guidelines art based, in large part, on the consensus of the Dutch Melanoma Working Party that was revised in 1997, The article reflects internationally accepted treatment principles that have arisen both from critical assessment of existing evidence and data, and from the outcome of randomized studies.
