Abstract

Postconceptional age was studied in 33 mechanically ventilated preterm infants with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) bronchiolitis. Preterm infants without chronic lung disease had an increased risk of severe RSV infection until postconceptional age of 44 weeks.
