Abstract
Menière's disease is a chronic inner ear disease with handicapping symptoms as spontaneous vertigo attacks, progressive hearing loss and tinnitus. Endolymphatic hydrops is the most commonly used pathophysiologic model, but the exact pathogenesis remains unclear.
