Abstract

In this issue of Blood, Zhou and coworkers show that prophylaxis and treatment with the apoptotic cell-scavenging protein lactadherin prevent traumatic brain injury (TBI)-associated coagulopathy in mice, resulting in markedly improved outcome of this potentially lethal injury.
