Small mustelids in peril: Investigating detection, abundance, and ecology in the Netherlands

Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterAcademic

Abstract

Small mustelids are declining in the Netherlands. Common weasel Mustela nivalis, European polecat Mustela putorius, and Stoat Mustela erminea are all red listed. As the cause of their decline is mainly speculative and their numbers are unknown, more research on these illusive creatures is needed to protect them.
